Information about the artwork: This piece is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Ferrari 625 that competed in the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix, marking the first French victory in Formula 1 with driver Maurice Trintignant. The number 44, inspired by the original car, also offers a subtle nod to the modern legacy of Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton.
I wanted this sculpture to feel like a piece of jewellery — crafted with intention, elegance, and precision, blending the timeless beauty of classic automotive design with the refined, precious finish of a collectible art object.
Information about the artist: A professional football player until the age of 28, he later chose to shift his career toward photography and luxury cosmetics advertising. Self-taught and deeply passionate about graphic arts and craftsmanship, he has developed a sensitive approach to form, material, and detail.
In 2016, he founded his first studio and began creating trophies for prestigious events, particularly within the fields of photography and cinema. At the same time, he initiated the development of his own artistic works and collections.
Through the themes of cars, animals, and humanoids, Cyril B translates the codes of the invisible by shaping information, fluids, speed, aerodynamics, and geometries. His work is rooted in a practice where contemporary aesthetics often engage in dialogue with personal development.
