About the artist: Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement. Warhol responded to mass-media culture of the 1960s. His silkscreens of cultural and consumer icons—including Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Campbell’s Soup Cans, and Brillo Boxes—would make him one of the most famous artists of his generation. “The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do,” he once explained.

Information about the producer: Ligne Blanche was created in 2007 to unite the best of two exciting worlds : contemporary art and lifestyle. Their first collaboration was with The Guggenheim Museum, for whom they created a range of personalized sweets. Ligne Blanche Paris offers a product line - perfumed candles, porcelains,, and linen - that brings the allure of vibrant contemporary and modern artworks into the everyday life of the growing number of « art lovers ». They work in exclusive collaboration with the Keith HARING Foundation, the Andy WARHOL Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Robert MAPPLETHORPE Foundation, the Jean-Michel BASQUIAT Foundation and the René MAGRITTE Foundation to develop products that respect the artworks and the spirit of the artists they represent.
