Collection: KEVIN CHAMPENY
Kevin Champeny is a famous sculptor known for his large, textured hanging mosaics composed of thousands of small objects such as gummy bears and miniature skulls, which form photorealistic images when viewed from afar. Born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin, he studied Art History and Education at Beloit College, earning a bachelor's degree in studio art. After moving to New York City, his art career took off in 2016 while he was working as a mechanic at an aviation company. He has worked as a contract sculptor for major brands including Warner Brothers, Disney, Patron, and Calvin Klein, and notably created the master model for President Obama’s cereal bowl. Champeny creates pieces for museums, private commissions, and galleries.
