A graduate of the Yerevan School of Fine Arts in Armenia, Anna continued her studies at the Abovyan Pedagogical Institute. Anna Kara revisits classical painting by taking over vanities. The leitmotivs of finitude, of the fragility of existence (skulls, hourglasses, etc.) fit into a denoting contemporary universe. Her work plays with ambivalence between death and life, euphoria and melancholy, humor and insolence... His skulls become springlike, death is exposed to lightness and antinomies and classical canons free.
Anna exhibits in prestigious places, such as the Art en capital fair at the Grand Palais, at the Pierre Cardin space and in several international galleries. Her work has been hailed by numerous distinctions, in particular, the Mérite Culturel Français – silver medal.
