Information about the artist: Multi-award winning artist Grégoire creates digital illustrations that evoke emotional reactions. Self-taught visual artist, he examines through Art, the body in its simplicity extraordinary as a biological, digital and aesthetic organism. It captures the essence of fleeting moments, like a splash of water or a face in disintegration, and immortalizes them in time in objects that seem almost tangible. By using extremely intense lights and shadows, his works create a complex relationship between fact and fiction. His work, including the award-winning 'Reflections', 'Hedonism' and 'Review mirrors', are awesome examples of photographic digital art and depict various aspects of the human body and emotions. From an early age, Grégoire has been practicing dance and it is this discipline and the movements that have allowed him to observe the body and its incredible power. Currently based in London, in 2020 he won the prize for best digital artist at the Shanghai Art Awards.

The right hand is in the position of Karana mudra which is a sacred hand gesture or "seal" used during the practice of yoga and meditation as a means of channeling the flow of vital energy known as prana.  Karana mudra helps dispel negativity, anxiety, fear and depression while enhancing feelings of happiness and contentment. It stimulates Fire and Ether elements within the body, represented by the thumb and middle finger respectively. Karana also known as 'gesture of warding off evil'.
