Collection: TONY F.

In 1959, during the school vacations, Tony F discovered photography, jazz and the blues: photography and music became his passions.

By 1961, he was listening to rock: Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Tommy Steele, among others. He frequented the Golf-Drouot (the cradle of rock in France), where he met J. Hallyday, E. Mitchell, Long Chris and his Daltons, whose first cover he designed (and his first). At the same time, with Louis Armstrong, he made his first press appearance on the front page of a major daily newspaper.

He joined the staff of the legendary magazine “Salut les Copains” in 1964. In 1972, he left to create HIT-Magazine. He returned to S.L.C. in 1977. Agence Sygma-Corbis, in 1983, for a dozen years.

Tony has also taken iconic photos of famous faces such as Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Polnareff, Julien Clerc, Véronique Sanson and Eddy Mitchell.

Today, he works as a freelance photographer.
