Collection: FREDERIC A.

Fred, born in 1975 into a family of master stone masons, learned the craft from his father at an early age, mastering the polishing, cutting, and shaping of stone and marble. At just 21, he was commissioned by the municipality of Sanary on the French Riviera to restore fountains and public statues.

His contemporary sculptures blend traditional techniques with influences from French design, pop culture, cartoons, and comics. His first series, Freud, reimagined animals through exaggerated proportions, rounded lines, and playful personification, parodying their symbolic roles in pop culture while retaining their essence of strength and loyalty.

Today, Fred customizes animal subjects with vibrant finishes and a candy pop art aesthetic, transforming them into bold, humorous, and visually striking works.
